PV's at Denver Union Station 3 Jan 2021
Author: cozephyr

Private varnish (PV) Warren R. Henry dome lounge and Evelyn Henry sleeper were on Amtrak's train #5, the California Zephyr.  PVs arrived at Denver Union Station, Denver, Colorado, USA, Sunday, 3 January 2021.

Car was originally built for the Union Pacific and has received extensive upgrades by the current owner Patrick Henry.

Drumhead covered in ice reads;  It's not the destination...but the Journey.

Granted, this is minutiae, but nevertheless: is there a reason why "Journey" is capitalized on the drumhead? Random capitalization is one of pet Peeves.

Mmmm, I might have done it that way....it's a way to provide a little emphasis without bolding or capitalizing the whole word....plus...and there's no accounting for it....a matter of taste.....in the German language all nouns are capitalized as a matter of course.....just a thought on that.

It is not " Random capitalization ". The capitalization of "Journey" emphasizes that the purpose of the trip IS the Journey. Doing so in such fine cars makes this "Journey" an unparalleled experience.

Those are beautiful cars, inside and out, both of them.  I've been on them a few times but never got to ride them.  Patrick always has a great and friendly crew when he travels.  I look forward to seeing them again.
