Date: 01/13/21 10:54 Re: Cañon City & Royal Gorge Author: Geordie405 It's a nice railroad and well worth visiting. I was there in August and my wife and I did the full dining option on the evening departure. The prime rib was decent! Service was excellent.
We had 728 and 3104 as the traction that day. Date: 01/13/21 14:18 Re: Cañon City & Royal Gorge Author: PlyWoody Nice they have power unit and cab at both ends. Never stand in an open doorway on back up moves, and always have safety chains up, but they can break.

Are they that busy in January to justify hauling that many cars? Not complaining, but just wondering about the economics of running that many cars in what would seem to me to be the off season.

More cars due to expanded room needed for social distancing requirements most likely. Date: 01/15/21 11:48 Re: Cañon City & Royal Gorge Author: SantaFeCF7 PHall Wrote:
