Engineers complained about braking on the new highliner cars since they were put in service. Even in pre-service testing, braking was found to be unpredictable. In service, engiuneers complained about not being able to predict where the train would stop.

Management had a get over the road or we will find someone else who will attitude about the rules. Missing the spot and backing up was becoming commonplace.
