and are hiding the train, so there is nothing to see in the staged photo. Idiocracy has landed. Date: 05/04/21 18:37 Re: Caltrain CalMod pictures Author: cchan006 goduckies Wrote:
------------------------------------------------------- > Ugly Not bad, in my opinion. The lines are relatively clean, and no funny angles like the Cascades Talgo cab car. The "tallness" from being double-decked is "form follows function" and much better looking than the old Kinkisharyo cab cars. Only thing that's "disproportionate" is the front truck/front cab proportions. Front cab looks too far forward from the the truck. Don't see too many American-based design with that proportion. Looks like light rail on steroids. The Stadler front cab looks much cleaner than the Siemens Chargers, with clean headlight arrangement, and doesn't look "busy." This is to silence the dumb "it's progress, get used to it" comments we hear on TO. Ask yourself why it's ugly, not just say it. :-) Date: 05/04/21 19:35 Re: Caltrain CalMod pictures Author: goduckies Mater is ugly too...
