Passenger Trains > Naperville Parking

It's been a few years since I left my car at Naperville, IL.  As I recall, there are a few spots reserved for Amtrak passengers and you obtain a paper to put on your dash indicating so. Not sure if the station is still staffed. If not, how would that work? As I remember, the lot was otherwise packed with commuter's vehicles but given so many still working from home I'm thinking that might no longer be the case. It would be a Thursday afternoon for No. 5 if that makes any difference.  And last, is it still safe to leave a car there (or at least as safe as anyplace else in the area).  Thanks much in advance for any help/advice.  

Took a 3 day trip in March and parking was no problem. Station is manned to get your parking pass and there are plenty of open spaces.  It is still a safe area and police come through the area frequently.
