Movement of Siemens equipment for VIA Rail -- question

A post on September 13 speculated about a special movement of Siemens equipment for VIA Rail departing on September 17 from Sacramento. Did it actually happen?

Sorry, no it did not. Siemens is behind schedule. New target shipment date is now this coming Friday.

This is strange. There are problems with the plumbing in the cars going to Illinois and California. But not to Canada?

Ah the Canadian cars were built after they found the problem on the earlier cars so they fixed them on the assembly line?
