A friend has graciously allowed some of his video to appear on the site, so to introduce you to a page dedicated to his videos, I decided to start off with a bang!

As opposed to most of the steam excursions I am used to, this one really cooks.

I was on the trip that was run during the monsoon that month. The wind and heavy rain at Port Jervis made for some great smoke effects, though. But every time I hear that Reading passenger whistle, I just close my eyes and picture 2100 rushing at me at 80 per with a Ramble. Besides, I would almost swear that the whistle in your sequence came off of No. 2100, as it perfectly matches the one it had on the Iron Horse Ramble audio recordings.
