Harlem Division......Metro North
Author: mp208

Silver gray eels slide by Roaring Brook Rd. between Mt. Kisco and Chappaqua, NY on 12/29/21.  Parking lots are still  mostly empty.  A sad commentary as we enter 2022.

Neat video!
Indeed, public transit is drastically lacking riders nation wide,
I retired as the parking administrator for the Bay Area Rapid Transit District in Oakland, Califf. just prior to the pandemic.
We had around 42,000 parking spaces distributed around various BART stations in parking garages and surface lots. Most spaces
would be full by 7 AM each weekday. Total ridership was around 400,000 people then. Currently, it's around 80,000 with many
parking lots almost empty all week. Cal Train in the West Bay is in a similar situation with empty trains & lots.
Regards, Jim Evans
