Here's a rare Starlight photo...
Author: Goatboat

Three weeks ago yesterday, the southbound Coast Starlight was 14+ hours late out of Klamath Falls. In comparison to the old SP Shasta Daylight, the train was about a hour and a half ahead of SP 9\'s schedule. I have always wanted to shoot a westbound passenger train on the Dry Canyon Trestle in the afternoon, and thanks to some operational calamity, I finally got my wish.

Thats one cool shot. I have a few of the northbound on the trestle but not southbound. I hope Kirk had his corndog before you went into the trestle shot.

Bob, the fine cuisine at the Dunsmuir Texaco was our next stop. Then we went south.

Trains and golf in one location. My two favorite things!

If I was on 11 that day I\'d enjoy it since the scenery is so beautiful. Cool shots Goatboat!

Same train, different trestles -- about 75 miles apart.
