NYC & NP PVs at Los Angeles, CA

Ex NYC Sleeper/Obs #10560 "Babbling Brook" built in 1949, ex NP Vista Dome/Sleeper #313 (built in 1954), & ex NP Vista Dome/Coach #549 (built in 1957) all seen at the ready tracks along Amtrak's 8th St. Yard near DTLA a couple days back.

All three cars are now operated/chartered by Webb Rail.

The last photo is a great optical illusion; otherwise, we now have photographic evidence that despite 40+ years of experience to the contrary, any Superliner can operate seamlessly with a single-level trainset.
