It’s been there since it was delivered 3 months ago

This is more of a PR move pulling in and out the station at the Orlando International Airport

They mention the other 4 trainsets will be delivered this summer

Do we think Siemens will be able to do that with all the Amtrak and VIA work they are committed to?

I believe the plan is to roll the remaining 3 out to Brightline this summer in a single move.

So is the Brightline track complete all the way between Miami and Orlando (I don't believe so)

It was delivered on a CSX line that connects to Brightline near the coal generating plant about 5 miles from the airport.

That section is complete

There remains about 20+ miles to be complete from there to cocoa florida

The roaming railfan has U tube coverage of the delivery to Orlando.

Siemens had Brightline in the pipeline long before the Amtrak and VIA contracts. Both of the Amtrak and VIA designs are variations on the Brightline design.

If first in, first out remains the rule, Brightline should have no worries about equipment delivery.

Monday I drove from the Orlando airport to I95. There was a work train spreading ballast and about 10 miles of track laid east of the airport. Ther looked to be a little bridge work, rail, ballast, to complete on the balance of this segment. The sign said 30 miles airport to I95. The roadbed looked about completed.

That's consistent with my observations, too. Signals are up. Looks like +/- 20 miles of ties and track to be placed.

Lots of activity in and around the I-95 bridge.

Bridges appear to be solid deck type.

They are only about 3 miles remaining I believe, based on the Roaming Railfans videos

There are several miles of second track yet to be placed in service in Martin County, St Lucie County, and Indian River County.  As well as some on the east end of the Orlando to Cocoa segment.  As of yesterday, there are about five miles in Stuart where there's just a sub-bed. No ballast, ties, or track. And no improved crossings.

But, from what I saw up in Brevard County, BrightLine is working hard on this. Saturday work, working until 6 pm, etc. They will get it done
