We ain't safe anywhere anymore. 

Sure hope it wasn't Steven Raichlen (Project Fire on PBS).  He films his grilling / cooking episodes near the exterior of the station.  Love that show.  His grilling techniques and recipes are unique, to say the least.

It seems to me from reading the story that the gunman targeted a very specific individual, who apparently was an upper-teens person unlikely to match this description.

Steven Raichlen's cooking gear can cost as much or more than a new motorcycle. I wonder what kind of security he uses in photo shoots?

Steven Raichlen is not black.  Both the alleged shooter and the victim are/were. 

Not a racist comment, simply the truth as reported by media.

Passenger came into the station looking for the quickest way to Chicago. Went to Amtrak since it was the cheapest. He was told Greyhound left sooner and got a ticket there. 10 minutes later a guy came into the station wearing a ski mask and shot him. Amtrak's 318 passengers (around 90) missed the train because the station was in lockdown and we're put on 306.

The St Louis Union Station where Raichlen records his show is near, but not where the Amtrak Gateway Station is.
