Passenger Trains > The Northwest 500Date: 08/06/22 19:48 The Northwest 500 Author: Goatboat It's not a race; rather, it's a train. Every morning Amtrak train 500 leaves Eugene at or before dawn, depending upon the season. If all goes well, it arrives in Seattle at the noon hour. This morning, Amtrak 500 roars through Hito at track speed. Next stop: Oregon City.
