With all DC to FL trains on hold today, what additional if any maintenance might be done that normally there would not be a chance for, especially the Auto Train which turns every 8 hours?

Yeah, I can hear it now, they might actually vacuum the floors and clean the toilets. What I\'m more interested in is does this give them adequate time to go around and maybe replace burned out lights, broken fixtures, etc?

Auto train has extensive facilities at Sanford Florida.

Miami\'s Hilieah shops also services Amtrak equipment though I believe Amtrak is under equiped to handle massive work in Florida.

Also Amtrak\'s performance in the snow should be improved. I know many issues are with CSX on that though.
