Passenger Trains > 8/19thDate: 11/20/22 09:04 8/19th Author: NPEDDIE Where is 8/19th?
This train has fallen off the radar. The Great Northern would NOT run their passenger trains that way! Ed Burns Retired Clerk NP BN BNSF from Northtown, Minneapolis. Date: 11/20/22 09:24 Re: 8/19th Author: walstib Number 8 departed Spokane at 09:16.
They’re detouring on the UP today on account of BNSF cutting in the new Lake Pend Oreille bridge. Posted from iPhone Date: 11/20/22 10:28 Re: 8/19th Author: WJEX Past mp 29.75 on the UP Spokane sub at 10:16

Date: 11/20/22 17:45 Re: 8/19th Author: sethamtrak They turned off the tracker. Was going to be about 4 hours late leaving Chicago account the vehicle strike WB on 7. However, they lost an additional 4 hours leaving Seattle due to encountering "mechanical issues". Left Seattle 8 hours late.

Seattle has a new locomotive shop, but the cars are maintained out in the open on pit tracks that have been there for 70ish years. TAW Date: 11/20/22 22:04 Re: 8/19th Author: dendroica It seems that if #8 leaves Seattle after midnight (i.e. more than 7.5 hrs late) it doesn't show up on the tracker. I would guess that's some sort of bug in the system.
