Between Ottumwa and Creston last night? Looks like it dropped 3:00 in there somewhere. Now running 5:14 late, due in Denver 12:10PM (schedule 7:45AM).

Kind of unusual for that end of the trip. There was severe weather in eastern Colorado last night, did it extend as far as Iowa and have anything to do with it?

For what little it is worth, I observed #5/28th from a distance pass MP 18.34 OT.

This observation allows "late equipment set" or "held for....\' to be eliminated from the litany of excuses.

I heard that "they had an engine crap out around Osceola," ... but I heard this info second or third-hand so the wording has probably changed.
Why does this stuff _never_ happen when I\'m riding...?!

both engs shot craps at mp320. bn pushers from
albia hooked up and pulled it along. 5(29) set
out bad order car at chi. they need to hire a few
more IC reject management wannabes to make this
work.
