CDTX 924 by OKJ - 3:29pm
Author: tracktime

Hey folks,

Just received an eyewitness report from our intrepid trackside correspondent (Espeeboy) that CDTX 924 has just left the environs of Oakland\'s Jack London Square (OKJ) on the tail end of the MRVSJ (Roseville, CA->San Jose Manifest).

The head end locomotive on the train is the UP 9463 (DASH8-41CW).

CDTX 924 is about 7 cars from the rear end, facing back. This is the second MP36-PH3S to be delivered to Caltrain.

Ah.. update.. It just went by Fruitvale/High Street. 331pm.

Best Regards,
Harry

All I can say is this hideous creation makes me much more fond of the F-59phi. (Never thought I\'d say that!)

Someone put a post on here that they saw it on a freight through Chico on Tuesday. Why did it take UP three days to get it from Chico to San Jose?
Anyone know when it left Boise?

It's Pointed the Wrong Way!

....but I assume it\'s just UP\'s job to get it there. Looks like a trip to the Mission Bay wye to right things.

Seen passing College Park today being hauled from Newhall to the depot by the 903 on the pinup. Still coupled to the 903 on depot 12 as of early evening.

Unfortunately Mission Bay (Potrero Wye) is out of service at this time, the only wye on the entire 47.9 mile route is the one at Redwood Junction.
