Sounds like train 5 the California Zephyer.

It's number 5, the westbound California Zephyr.  Number 3, the westbound Southwest Chief, is about an hour later.

I boarded at Galesburg tonight on the Zephyr. Here is the lead engine. The train was only about 10 minutes late into the Burg.
