Passenger Trains > Amtrak 30 with 2 revenue sleepers - 3/6/23Date: 03/07/23 02:32 Amtrak 30 with 2 revenue sleepers - 3/6/23 Author: JPB The eastbound Capitol Ltd arrived Elkhart close to OT on Monday evening 3/6/23 with 6 cars which included 2 revenue sleepers behind the baggage car. There was only 1 revenue coach as the 6th car appears to be a deadhead sleeper Note that the interior walls visible through the window of this Superliner appear to be gray instead of brown - perhaps this a recently rehabbed sleeper?

I understand the interior hallway pictures though and the differentiation from the Superliner I Sleepers with the faux wood etc. etc. Last year the Capitol Limited was notorious for having two Superliner II Sleepers in consists, but that's not to say things can change. Shuffling happens all the time practically.

If I remember from last year they dropped from 3 New York and 2 Boston to 2 New York and 1 Boston for winter, then spring they went to 2 New York 2 Boston, and then the third New York came back for summer.
