Passenger Trains > FL BrightLine progress in Stuart area

Lots of recent progress in the area North of the new CP Seabranch, roughly mile post 268.

The new West main is now linked up all the way North to Monterey Road. The crossings were done months ago, then the intervening track went in.

I was surprised to see a full work crew in the area late on Saturday afternoon. Tampers, regulators, and bucket loaders of ballast. Flaggers on all crossings.

They are definitely working at full strength.

Thanks for the update.

The signals at South Port Sewall in Port Salerno were removed today. Along with the connection to the former controlled siding, now the East Main track.

Work crews and Flaggers were working on Sunday afternoon.
