#14 Canceled Today?
Author: ExStarlightHog

I heard through the grapevine that 14 was canceled in its entirety due to severe weather north of LA.

I don't think the 4449 would fare any better against a mudslide than a P42.

I think you're right.  I thought it was just high water.  Mudslides halt everything.

11(11,12,13) Will terminate in Emeryville and 14(12,13,14) will originate in Emeryville.

No estimated time on the track opening.

MP96.53 to 98.3 on the Coast Sub is still out of service with water over the rail. The plan is to wait until the water levels drop until UP can better understand the extent of damage. More damage could also arise as another 1-2in of rain is on the horizon on Tuesday

Let's hope UP doesn't say f it and not replace it if it's too significant....

Actually let's hope UP says f it. That would probably cause the state to take over the line and have an operator who wants to be there.

Wouldn’t be surprised. State doesn’t care since it’s not part of CCJPA or LOSSAN corridors.?
