Passenger Trains > A room with a view, Washington, DCDate: 05/22/23 12:43 A room with a view, Washington, DC Author: Chessie1963 I am in DC for two days, as you may have discerned from the earlier posts. It is a work trip. However, I am staying at the Marriott NOMA, which is very near Union Station. I have Marriott status, so I got bumped up to a junior suite with a view that I found quite, uh, shocking. I was able to see the Crescent and the Star arrive in between meetings today, and neither was clean. What I find odd is that different cars are experiencing different levels of cleanliness. Go figure.
I had no idea the hotel was so close to Union Station, and I certainly did not expect such a view of the action around here! ![]() Date: 05/22/23 12:46 Re: A room with a view, Washington, DC Author: ClubCar Wow, that is a great view for sure. Enjoy your stay.

Although I don't have status, I ask for a room facing the tracks and I have gotten one each time.
Problem is I'm very price sensitive and most times that hotel is too expensive for my blood. I then stay elsewhere. Being limited to subway or train for tranportation, Marriott NOMA is only one stop on the Red Line from Washington station Union Station. Unless it was in the terminal it could not be a better location! Posted from Android Edited 1 time(s). Last edit at 05/22/23 13:34 by BRAtkinson.
