5/29/2023  Happy Memorial Day!
MARC ran a special train to celebrate the 150th anniversary of B&O's Metropolitan Branch, now called CSX's Metropolitan Subdivision. Here is the special leaving Gaithersburg, MD with Train 30, the eastbound Capitol Limited, racing by on its way to Washington DC.

Great video and very nice horn. It's a sad sight to see that Capitol Limited down to four cars. In better news, there are plans for MARC to run daily service on the Brunswick Line but I have a feeling that that is still a ways.
