Passenger Trains > Albany / Rensselaer StationDate: 05/30/23 17:37 Albany / Rensselaer Station Author: PRSL-recall As I departed from this station on #49 last Thursday I noted many warning signs that the station parking lot will be closed July 21, 22, 23 and 24. Recalling another source that I read I can only assume that this closure is due to the installation of exit lanes allowing payment electronically or EZ-Pass. I have heard of complaints by those affected by delayed exits when arriving on a train with a heavy passenger load awaiting the lone collector.
The warning was also for everyone to remove their cars during that period. Also a heads-up for anyone planning to park there during those dates. I can only imagine a chaotic mess. I would sure hate to aproach unawares! Edited 1 time(s). Last edit at 05/30/23 20:46 by PRSL-recall. |
