First look - NJT "NJT Heritage" paint scheme at Trenton, NJ
Author: Mgoldman

I was photographing some action at the Trenton Transit Center, and just as I was about to
head out, I thought I saw what looked like an E-60 approaching.  Something was different.

Low and behold - eastbound NJT ALP-46A No. 4640 appeared and it was painted in an
E-60/ ALP-44 locomotive paint scheme commenorating 40 years of NJT service.

Thought it looked pretty darn good - much better than the current bottom fade paint scheme.

I wonder - if SEPTA did a similar heritage scheme, I guess all they'd have to do is remove
the stripe from the train.  A nod to PTC (Philadelphia Transportation Company), or Red
Arrow would be pretty wild.

Looks a lot nicer than the current ALP-46 scheme

It has supposedly been equipped with horns removed from an E60.

Ahhh. So that's how Mitch thought it was an E60 approaching.
