GP38 PRSL 2000 acquired by CMSL

Cape May Seashore Lines recently acquired Pennsylvania-Reading Seashore Lines GP38 2000, built in 1967.  CMSL operated a welcome train on Saturday from Richland to Weymouth, Atlantic County, NJ on Saturday.

It's hard to believe that unit is almost 60 years old!!  It looks like it was built 10 years ago.  That says something about how well those EMD units were built and endure thru the decades!  Timeless industrial design.
