Often, the 5th coach only ran LA-Oakland but did run all the way to Seattle, too. Between 4 sleepers, 5 coaches, a diner, lounge, and Parlour Car, the Starlight was regularly 12 cars long, plus the baggage car! Safe to say those days are long gone and likely wouldn't ever return.
