Passenger Trains > New Train in a New StationDate: 02/09/24 21:58 New Train in a New Station Author: cr2581 With approval to move forward now granted from the FRA, Amtrak has begun to put some mileage on the next-gen Acela sets that have been stored in Penn Coach Yard for what seems like an eternity. Set 10 was out and about several times this week and made a few round trips during daylight hours between Philadelphia and Havre de Grace, MD. I photographed it yesterday as it passed through the newly constructed Septa station in Claymont, DE. I wouldn't be surprised to see more of this now as the program really needs to move forward in a hurry.
Enjoy ! ![]() Date: 02/10/24 04:20 Re: New Train in a New Station Author: thebluecomet Your image looks very much like a oil painting. The vivid colors really jump out.

Thought it was a train “set.” Shouldn’t it match? Posted from iPhone Date: 02/11/24 07:26 Re: New Train in a New Station Author: DRGWK59 It looks "GOOD" to me! It's not exactly matching, but I think most observers would not notice!
