On-Line Trains Mag problems?
Author: OnTime

Anyone else having difficulty signing into the Trains Mag on line service. I can't get into my account. When I called them they said they were changing to a new "source" and said other tech lingo that was goobeldy gook to me. Anyone know what is actually going on?

Just noticed the same thing. They have recently completed a rebuild of the site, but my logon and password are not being accepted. I emailed them about it just now.

I am guessing on-going problems with their switch over.

If you click on the top banner “Learn More,” it says we need to change the password, but when entering my email address to do so, it is getting kicked back as "We are unable to locate you using the credentials you provided," so they apparently have some issues to settle...did send a message several hours ago.

By the way, the customer (un)service number posted earlier don’t work either…

The email you request to get to the password reset page is slow getting out...but it will come....you do need to click within the black banner at top. If you just try to login the regular way the system won't know who you are...your old password has been abandoned.

I subscribed (print) since I was a kid. I also bought years of back issues and the DVD-R.

When my subscription came up for renewal a couple of years ago and I logged in I was able to get into my account but found no way to renew. I let them know but it was never fixed. I could have called but I elected not to.

But then they infuriated me by sending me (snail mail) not offers to renew but bills saying I owed them. I never renewed and never authorized any sort of “forever” subscription. That might even be criminal.

I borrow it from a library now.
