Passenger Trains > METRA Train Derails At Crystal Lake

A METRA train derailed at Crystal Lake this morning.

No injuries reported, and both tracks were blocked, according to ABC 7 Chicago.

Low speed, no passengers, but two tracks blocked.

I hope it is not a SD70MACH . 

Metra F40PH 136 derailed.

A buddy of mine lives there in Crystal Lake and got some photos. Hulcher was on the scene by 1:30. According to. UP track maintainer he talked to, a rail adjacent to the switch frog rolled over resulting in derailed locomotive and destroyed switch frog.
