Date: 03/13/24 20:30 Re: Amtrak Refresh Author: csxtravis700 I rode in one a few months back. Everything was the same. Just new seating material. Half the car is tables and the other half was still chairs.

I did see a refreshed superliner sitting in Chicago recently that appeared to be all booths. There was a sightseer on train 392 tonight from Carbondale for axle count, the lights were off, so could not tell on that one. But I'd think the one half with booths and such is sufficient.

Date: 03/14/24 06:22 Re: Amtrak Refresh Author: exrtc Just got off the City of New Orleans a couple of hours ago. Upholstery in the lounge car looked brand new, so maybe this was one of the cars you are talking about. Still has outward facing seats, and the downstairs is still full of cardboard boxes.

Date: 03/14/24 21:58 Re: Amtrak Refresh Author: BrynMawr Well, maybe not. If they were serious, desigating ONE booth for crew might be useful. There wassupposed to be a specific space in the trans-dorms, but when they are parked, not very useful.
