Passenger Trains > Phase 4 on the Flyer

Amtrak's phase 4 heritage unit number 164 was recently assigned to the Heartland Flyer. As luck would have it the locomotive would be placed on the south side of the train which is optimal for light with the train this time of year. I went out on one of the first sunny days since its been put on and grabbed a few photos of the sharp looking locomotive.

1) Crossing the Red River into Texas
2) Drone shot north of Valley View, Tx at Hockley Creek, Rd

With traffic and work needing my attendance I went no further chasing but am pleased with the result of a quick morning
