Passenger Trains > Colorado RR Museum Celebrates the 75th Anniversary of the CZ

During this past week there's been numerous, well done programs put on by CRRM to celebrate the history of this wonderful train.  In conjunction with that, on Saturday the newly refurbished Dome Car Monument was put back on display.  Many of you know it was in Glenwood Canyon for many years before coming to the museum in 1985 when they widened I-70.  Staff and volunteers did a great job on restoring the base, plaques and the Rio Grande dome car.

As Chip also mentioned in his Nostalgia & History post there were tours offered of 5771 and Cathy Moran, a Zephyrette, put on a very interesting program about her time on the CZ.  Great weather and train rides combined for a very busy day at CRRM.
