Does anyone know if the equipment from the WPE deadhead east or west from Denver?

Past years the WPE moved east on train 6 shortly after its last trip.

Hope the equipment heads to Chicago when the Ski Train concludes. The extra Superliner coaches and a Superliner Sightseer Lounge car will be most welcomed to help augment train sets for the upcoming season!

Unlike previous years, the 2024 Winter Park Express was assembled in Los Angeles, not Chicago.  The train arrived Denver clean inside and out, and mechanically sound.  Perhaps they are trying to give some relief to the "chronically overworked" Chicago Yards. BSB
