Train 7(24)

Looks like Train 7(24) detoured on the Surrey Sub this morning, per track-a-train location history. The cold weather??

Currently 2 hours late out of Williston, ND.

The Surrey Sub should put them into Minot about 60-90 minutes early!   Must have been one of their 15,000' trains which had a bad day.

Sounds like they lost an hour and 15 minutes just out of Winona due to a track light left on by a freight at Lake City. Guess they didn't make up any time or lose any more.

Well, Train #7/27 (24) left Fargo around 2 hours and 20 minutes late, took the Suurey Sub, but didn't make up hardly any time, arriving into Minot nearly the same 2 hours late. Didn't make up any time getting in/out of Minot either, leaving Minot 2 hours and 20 minutes late. Was this weather related on the regular line to produce directional running, or something else that happened. Glad to see that the Empire Builder got through SAFELY, nonetheless.
