Passenger Trains > Superliner issue?Date: 03/27/24 18:28 Superliner issue? Author: Pacific5th Spokane has two Superliners set out at the depot for most of last week. Wenatchee had a single one sitting in the Oil Spur. Someone just posted on FB another one the Renton Rocket out of Interbay was dragging around. Heard a rumor these may be the recently rebuilt ones and there's a batch of bad wheels. Whatever seems to be a few B/O Superliners hanging around the PNW.

If they derailed in Spokane, even on the Amtrak lead they sure kept that quite. not a single rail has mentioned or talked about that and you got to believe that would have been all over the radio and someone would have heard that. Anyways that doesn't explain the one in Wenatchee. The Seattle one could be the same car, I'm not sure. Date: 03/28/24 09:47 Re: Superliner issue? Author: sethamtrak Pacific5th Wrote:

Rear two coaches and sleeper picked a switch as 28 was arriving. Train left without the two coaches and Portland sleeper. https://www.trainorders.com/discussion/read.php?4,5827995,5828898#msg-5828898 Date: 03/28/24 10:00 Re: Superliner issue? Author: splitreduction The one in Wenatchee was from Spokane, only one was able to the picked up due to mechanical issues so it got separated from the other for a few days.
