Train #8 of March 28th, is estimated to be 4.5 hours late into Whitefish, MT. It left Seattle 4 hours and 16 minutes late due to a late turn of inbound equipment. Empire Builders at Seattle and Portland do a same day turn at train #7 had problems at Wenatchee, WA yesterday. Typically late trains get later, but being its going into the weekend, hopefully train #8/28 (28) can make up some time, but so far, not really the case. If given a green on the road and not too much freight interference across Montana to get to Minot, ND, they have a "chance" to make-up time. Lot of padding in the Empire Builder's schedule, but that can still be eaten up when out of the time slot.

Yes, late turn of equipment. 307 and the BNSF leader had to be dropped and replaced with P42 29 too.
