Passenger Trains > Amtrak's "Open Door Policy"?Date: 04/13/24 07:36 Amtrak's "Open Door Policy"? Author: Korigaoka1811 December 27, 2023, at Tri-Rail's Boynton Beach Station.
Interesting to me anyway, I notice now that this northbound Silver Service train (I don't know if it is the Star or Meteor) was hi-balling north at about 65 - 70 mph with its back door open. Is there a baggage handler in there enjoying the view? J. Edited 1 time(s). Last edit at 04/13/24 07:37 by Korigaoka1811. Date: 04/13/24 07:46 Re: Amtrak's "Open Door Policy"? Author: march_hare If the weather’s good, I would pay extra for a rear facing seat in that car. I’ll even bring my own lawn chair.

Had that trouble riding a narrow gauge a few years back not fun for others at all. Date: 04/13/24 12:36 Re: Amtrak's "Open Door Policy"? Author: dan no passengers in bagg car

Author: P I saw the Cardinal northbound out of Cincinnati a few years back with the side door of the baggage car open. Suitcases were clearly visible just inside the car
