Passenger Trains > #5 with Double Bloody Noses (new P42 livery) in EmeryvilleDate: 04/14/24 19:14 #5 with Double Bloody Noses (new P42 livery) in Emeryville Author: WP17 A few weeks ago I was able to capture #5 with newly repainted P42 82 leading. Today I was able to capture a pair of newly repainted P42s hustling #5 into emeryville. This time it was 138 leading 82.
Thanks to kevink in Chicago for reporting that this particular consist left Chicago with freshly repainted power. WP17 Date: 04/14/24 19:24 Re: #5 with Double Bloody Noses (new P42 livery) in Emeryville Author: a737flyer Fresh lipstick on a...you get the idea...

New paint doesn't necessarily mean any mechanical work was done. BSB Date: 04/15/24 07:11 Re: #5 with Double Bloody Noses (new P42 livery) in Emeryville Author: BoilingMan Bloody nose? I dunno, they look like Woodpeckers to me…
