Passenger Trains > Nature's Spotlight on Donner PassDate: 04/15/24 07:27 Nature's Spotlight on Donner Pass Author: broken_link I wrapped up a solid couple of hours of winter shooting on Sunday, March 24, 2024, with Amtrak Number 6, the eastbound California Zephyr. Most of the day's flurries had subsided, but clouds lingered. So, it was rather fortunate that an eastward moving hole in the clouds opened up as the train approached, spotlighting it in sun as it passed me.
