Passenger Trains > Phase I and BNSF Geo Car

Yesterday, I caught Amtrak #6(14) as it passed Agency, Iowa.  Leading this eastbound California Zephyr was the Phase I 50th anniversary unit.  On the other end of the train was the BNSF geometry car that went west on #5 a few days ago.

1) AMTK 161 leading #6 on the left track through the town.

2) In the background, the dark clouds are a line of thunderstorms hitting Ottumwa where this train just departed.  Another, more severe batch of thunderstorms at New London would later cause #5 delays in the evening and into the night.
