Passenger Trains > Amtrak 30 of 4/17/24 4 hours late at Elyria

Here's a sceenshot Amtrak 30 running 3 hours late at Elkhart, basically on Amtrak 48's schedule, led by P40DC 837 and ALC-42 310 with the two latest ALC-42 deliveries 356 and 354 in tow ahead of standard 6 cars. As of 0531 Thursday 4/18/24, Amtrak 30 is expected to arrive at its next stop at Cleveland a little over 4 hours late at 0550.

Meanwhile, Amtrak 48 is operating only 30-50 minutes late as of 0543 with its standard 2xP42DC plus 11 car consist and is expected to arrive at its next stop at Cleveland about an hour after Amtrak 30.

It was very windy in Chicago on Wednesday.
Perhaps 14th St. was shut down because of wind.
Just as good of an excuse as supply chain issues.
Perhaps amtrak Marc should try using it.

Left Chicago on-time, but got stuck at CP 509 for hours. Must've been a stuck bridge.
