Passenger Trains > Some trains really do depart from Track 29…Date: 04/27/24 17:26 Some trains really do depart from Track 29… Author: march_hare ...but in 2022, you can't get a shoeshine before you leave. (Apologies to the original "Chattanooga Choo Choo lyrics.). We're not in NYP, but rather in Kansas City. No train service available to Chattanooga.

Date: 04/27/24 18:01 Re: Some trains really do depart from Track 29… Author: Sneebly The track that is KC is track 30, usually is used by trains 3/4, Southwest Chief, There are also stub tracks 27 and 28. All These tracks follow the KC Union Station original track naming convention.

The signs on the station platform read Track 0 and Track 1. I'm not sure if that is still the case. Track 0 would have been the track closest to the station.
