Repaints continue to show on #6

Amtrak has started using repainted units on Train #6, with two units, Amtrak 138 and Amtrak 82 on this train seen at Barr, CO, on April 28, 2024.  This was taken 30-35 minutes after sunset with a multi flash setup (thanks to Erik Lindgren and Andrew Button for help in setup).

Even the new paint scheme cant make those things appealing, but it does help a little.   Nice shot!

Five so far, P42’s no. 69, 82, 138, 167 and 174. Unit 69 has just recently been released from Beech Grove.

75/90/106/125 will be next

That's a sharp looking paint scheme, and it goes better with those engines than some other schemes.

Nice shot, it looks like they went from the regular Pepsi can colors to the Pepsi One colors on these. Maybe a lower calorie version of Amtrak power, lol?
