Amtrak's southbound Train No. 290 (the "Ethan Allen Express" between Burlington, VT --and-- New York [Penn Station], NY) is seen here running in a 1x1 power configuration with 5 passenger cars as it whizzes past MP150 on the Hudson Line/Subdivision in Colonie, NY, during the partly cloudy, warm, and humid early afternoon hours of 08/28/2024.

Looks like train is running on the new track (concrete ties). Penn Central removed the second track 40 years later Amtrak replaced it.
