Passenger Trains > Caltrain's AEM-7'sDate: 09/23/24 08:45 Caltrain's AEM-7's Author: amtrakin With the start of Caltrain's full electric service, I still see the two ex Amtrak AEM-7's (929 & 938) sitting on a side track in San Francisco, rusting away. I thought I read Caltrain's intention was to use them for catenary testing. Anyone have any word of their fate at Caltrain?

Were they ever used for anything, other than a PR shoot with the one in Caltrain livery? Date: 09/24/24 07:42 Re: Caltrain's AEM-7's Author: filmteknik Why not keep them? Just in case.
