No hassle enjoying the new Great Hall layout. Wednesday, 25 September 2024.
2 - Private Varnish Warren R Henry dome lounge and Evelyn A Henry sleeper was added to one hour late Amtrak California Zephyr, train #5, at Denver Union Station. 3 - Amtrak train 5 passed waiting Rocky Mountaineer in Arvada, Colorado, north west of Denver on Union Pacific's Moffat Tunnel Subdivision. 8 - Rocky Mountaineer passed Granby, Colorado, depot where it met UP eastbound Grand Junction, Colorado, to North Yard, Denver, CO, train symbol M GJNY. 9 - Rear DPU UP 7848 on UP's M GJNY at Granby, CO, 25 September 2024 UP's Moffat Tunnel Subdivision. 11 - Depot at Granby, CO. Decent cell and WiFi service around the depot. Union Pacific Maintenance of Way building at right. 12 - Union Pacific wooden caboose displayed at Moffat Road Railroad Museum, Granby, Colorado. Looks like the Granby depot has been painted since I was there last. I used them a couple of weeks ago and was very satisfied. Granby is a good gateway to Rocky Mountain National Park in the summer and fall.
