How close do Northstar trains get to the former GN Minneapolis station? How does a passenger get from Northstar's Minneapolis station to St Paul union station if he wants to ride the Borealis?

The Metro Green Line will get you from North Star’s Target Field stop to St. Paul Union Depot.

Northstar tracks are below street level green line light rail trains are in the street. There is an indoor connection between the two systems.

The Northstar commuter trains pass two - three blocks northwest of where the Great Northern Station was located on 90 Hennepin Avenue.
