Busy Fraser, CO, CZ and Winter Park Express

Great day (January 5, 2025) on the Winter Park Express -!  Everything‘s going very smoothly.

1 - Mother and train loving son caught California Zephyr arriving Fraser, CO, 5 January 2025 - ON TIME-!

Amtrak 45, P42DC, California Zephyr train number 5 passed Winter Park Express 146 on train 1105 run. Fraser stop Fraser, Colorado, temperatures in the teens with snow falling along the Union Pacific Moffat Tunnel Subdivision, 5 January 2025. 

Bustang bus was full 40 people.  Folks trying to get on at Fraser will have to take the train - either Amtrak California Zephyr number  6 or the Winter Park Express-!

2 - Amtrak 45 on westbound California Zephyr, train 5, met Winter Park Express unit 146 at Fraser, Colorado, 5 January 2025.

3 - Potential Bustang riders were told the bus was full -40 passengers is the maximum number of passengers for the bus- and they could not board at Fraser, Colorado, 5 January 2025. One bus rider hitched a ride with friends in a pick up truck.  He needed to get to Denver International Airport to catch a plane back to Germany.  The other two had to wait for Amtrak train 6, the California Zephyr, due at 3:31 PM.   Bustang Colorado

4 - Amtrak Winter Park Express crew left to right; engineer Curt, conductor Chris, and conductor Antonio at Fraser, Colorado, 5 January 2025.  Great crew - got us to Winter Park Ski Resort early-!

5 - BNSF 9051, SD70ACe, led the provo, Utah to Denver, Colorado, train H PVODEN passed Amtrak Winter Park Express laying over at Fraser, Colorado, 5 January 2025.

6 - Video did NOT load properly. Union Pacific 7689 W. oil cans headed to Utah at Fraser, Colorado, 5 Jan 2025.

You got a bus shot in!  Thanks Chip!  I didn't even know Bustang stopped at Fraser.
