IDK, they must think a flashing red light is equivalent to a stop sign as it is with roads, which means if it looks clear while moving, just shoot out.

I am going to have to add a 4th option for a firm: Dumb And Dumber, PLLC offices at every FLA Railroad crossing between Miami and Cocoa Fla.  I am so glad to see the high Speed section to MCO has minimal or zero crossings. After being passed by a eastbound train out of MCO last mont while ridding a Go Port Shuttle to the cruise ship terminal.  People cant pay attention to a gate and flashing lights. And this one is on dashcam as well..... Absolutely Pathetic. Prayers for the crew having to deal with this on a daily basis.

all these ambulance chasers advertise a lot .   "Get a free payday by suing someone"  Its deplorable.
Anyone  know what percentage of the cases they accept.   Im sure they have plenty of ppl who come to them who  have no case at all.

The worst of the shysters take 50% of any settlement.    Im guessing they mostly try to settle with the defendant, and pick up a couple hundred K for minimal work...

Thanks for sharing. What was the outcome of the passenger(s) in the automobile? Fatality? Wow, the car could have been hit broadside and dragged down the tracks but wasn't.

Driver got up and walked to first responders. What I read. Pure speculation but stolen vehicle would be possible even tho he didn't run, maybe too injured.

Don't drag them into that dung heap, they're a "respectable" law firm!

Even four gates doesn't work to stop some folks.

This isn't surprising. I've had people lean on the horn, and drive around me in the opposing lane when I stop for a red light. They blast through the red.

The orange set noted here is now up to five orange cars.  Saw it Wednesday in Port St Lucie. I believe this is a combination of removing wraps from some cars, and the recently delivered set of cars.

I can hear it now when the guy calls his insurance compny, "the train came out of nowhere and chased me down the street. The 'conductor' driving it was really pissed off."

Good judgement comes from experience.
And experience?  Well that comes from poor judgement.

It was reported on NBC Nightly News, which ran the video of the crash in a brief story, that the driver of the car had non-life-threatening injuries. He is very, very, very lucky. I hope the crew onboard the train was similarly  lucky and not hurt. That they have to endure such events says a lot. They have my concern and prayers as well.

Hopefully he has to pay a lot of money to the railroad for the damaged crossing gate and any damage to the train. Related traffic fines, also for running the gate. What an idiot. There's just no excuse for this. I feel bad for the train engineers who have to put up with these morons day after day.

I suspect it's hard to run with a large mess in your pants - LOL
Also wondering if it was an intentional suicide...
